When Morning Turns Bright (Interlude)

Early morning,	1
there's hardly a peep-	2

freight trains and crickets	3
orchestrate the city’s sleep.	4

A drunkard and	5
a gull mull about,	6

dumpster-diving	7
till the sun comes out.	8
